FÖN stands for Freundschaft Österreich Niederlande, which comes down to the Friendship between Austria and the Netherlands.
Haus FÖN (we pronounce it – not entirely correctly – as FUN) is owned by us, Sandy and Pieter-Henk, a couple from the Netherlands. We love being in the mountains and want to share our passion for the Schladming-Dachstein region with others.
We rent out our small luxury apartment in the charming Austrian village of Gröbming, just a ten minutes drive away from the nearest ski hub or golf club. In short, our apartment is a hidden gem for those who love nature and sports and the good life in general, in summer and winter.

It is truly a “FUN” place! The owners could be very proud of this hidden gem and we can definitely say that their mission to create welcoming atmosphere has been accomplished. We felt there like at home.
We were impressed with the way the apartment has been furnished. The set-up was well thought through with high attention to detail and aesthetics. The apartment is beautiful and cosy as well as very well equipped with multiple brand new amenities. During our stay at Fön Gröbming we had everything we needed and even more. It simply felt good to come back there after short trips into the surrounding nature.
